Norfolk Public Schools will continue to provide Student Data by Question reports and accompanying information to parents as student assessment data is shared with families. In addition, NPS will develop a robust communication plan with the NPS Office of Communications and Community Engagement to ensure families understand the tutoring available to students during the instructional day, in addition to afterschool opportunities available to students through 21st Century learning Centers at select schools and through afterschool tutoring sessions provided at the school level. Families will be provided opt-out options when proposing changing individual students' schedules at the middle school level.
