Attendance Accounting

  • Norfolk Public Schools is developing a standardized submission system using a digital form for tutors to input students' attendance daily. Funding will be provided to schools to hire a part-time teacher leader to ensure documentation of attendance in tutoring sessions and to organize after­school sessions, when applicable. Attendance documentation at the school level will be triangulated with the detailed monthly attendance and progress reports received from University Instructors to verify students' attendance during in-person tutoring sessions, along with providing data on students' progress during the tutoring period.
